Our 2013 summer exhibition, “Spaces & Places real and imagined” will feature eleven Mid-Atlantic artists’ expressions and representations of space and place. Wooden sculptures, landscape paintings, textile works and photographic landscapes are featured.

The Maryland State Archives, in collaboration with Case[werks], LLC of Baltimore, is extending an exhibit about Maryland’s rye whiskey industry that thrived for centuries in the state until the early 20th century.
This exhibition builds on Product Lines 1 held in 2013 and contributes to an ongoing conversation with artists, artisans and designers engaged in creative commerce. The curator’s intention with this series is to showcase “makers” in the act of “making” while documenting divergent approaches within the context of contemporary trends in art and design.
Memory: captured moments examines how an artist’s observation of his or her subject matter evolves over a defined interval — an hour, the course of a day, two-weeks in the garden, a thirty-year career or forty years in the studio.
