Freestanding Cases
Freestanding cases can be used to display multi-dimensional objects big and small. Offering 4-viewing sides, a freestanding case enables unobstructed visibility with a gallery space. Highly flexible, freestanding cases offer a number of display options including shelves, interior pedestals or risers.

Description
Archival or museum quality freestanding case features full visibility, archival construction with clear white laminated glass (safety glass/UV filtering). Five-sided glass enclosure sits atop a pedestal base consisting of one (1) hinged panel, three (3) fixed glass sides and glass top; base includes levelers. Glass edges are precision ground, mitered and joined with an inert silicone adhesive – no butt joints. The interior display platform is removable, constructed of formaldehyde-free materials and wrapped in our standard fabric.
Materials
Extruded aluminum sections; clear white laminated glass, medium density fiberboard (MDF); wood veneers (optional). Note: Honeycomb aluminum may be specified as an alternate to MDF at additional cost.
Base
Standard pedestal base is constructed of MDF detailed flush with the glass top. Optional base styles include: recessed pedestal, slab ended, cabinet base, toe-kick and custom (per specification).
Glass
8 mm clear white laminated glass. Glass edges are precision ground and polished; vertical edges are mitered and joined with an inert adhesive; top is flush with glass sides. Clear white laminated glass (safety glass) does not have the characteristic green tint of regular float glass and offers the highest protection against the affects of ultra-violet light.

Lacquer paint finish (standard), RAL color selection. A variety of natural, painted wood & metal finishes are also available (optional).

Shelving
An inconspicuous interior track at the upper perimeter of the display case interior is included for use with our suspended shelving system. Pair of glass shelves is optional and includes hanging supports as well as all required hardware.
Locks
