Plinths
Plinths, pedestals or platforms are indispensable exhibit furnishings designed to showcase works of art without a protective enclosure or cover. While often decorative, a pedestal typically consists of a simple box or column but they can be adapted to hold ballast or to provide some means of attachment for the object.
Description
Pedestals, plinths and platforms are intended for use in showcasing 3-dimensional works of art without a protective enclosure. Typically 4-sided, viewing height can vary depending on the object. Decorative or custom bases are common.
Base
Standard pedestal base is constructed of MDF detailed flush with or without a removable display deck. Optional base styles include: recessed pedestal, slab ended, cabinet base, toe-kick and custom (per specification). Base may be specified as ballasted or floor fixed for additional stability.
