Table Cases
Table cases also known as library cases are typically used to display books, documents or works on paper. A low, five-sided glass top encloses a horizontal deck and is supported by a table base. That base can be plain or fancy, 4-legged or solid.
Description
Archival or museum quality table case features frameless, full visibility construction with clear white, laminated glass (safety glass/UV filtering). Glass edges are precision ground, mitered and joined with a clear adhesive – no butt joints. Glass hood is hinged and permanently set within a metal frame that locks to and is supported by the table base; base (or legs) include levelers. Access is by means of a pair of pneumatic lifters concealed beneath the frame. The interior display platform is removable, constructed of formaldehyde-free materials and wrapped in our standard fabric.
Base
Standard table case is aluminum construction with 4 legs or flush pedestal. Optional base styles include: recessed pedestal, slab ended, rail ended, base w/display drawers, cabinet base, toe-kick and custom (per specification). Base includes levelers.
Materials
Extruded aluminum sections; clear white laminated glass, tubular steel or medium density fiberboard (MDF); wood veneers (optional). Note: Honeycomb aluminum may be specified as an alternate to MDF at additional cost.
Glass

Clear white laminated glass (safety glass) does not have the characteristic green tint of regular float glass and offers the highest protection against the affects of ultra-violet light.
