LED

LED (light emitting diode) technology offers an archival light source significantly reducing risks associated with conventional systems such as UV and heat (IR). It offers excellent color reproduction and dimming capabilities with a small footprint ideal for display case applications. Low voltage and long-life of the LED lamps translate into to low maintenance cost.

Description
LED lighting system consists of a power supply unit, dimmer, LED lamp. The power supply unit is an electronic ballast to supply power to the LED printed circuits of the lamp. LED lamp transformers operate with short circuit, temperature and overload protection.

Components
Light tubes, area lamps, electronic control/ switching

Light tubes are made to order and sized relative to the application and overall design. Light tubes can also be discretely integrated into the display case construction. Standard diameter of light tubes is 30 mm though other sizes available upon request.

Area lights are also made to order and are configured on a grid appropriate to the application.

Finish
Light tubes and lenses for spotlights are available in natural anodized aluminum or black. Housings of the area lamps are available anodized in natural color. Powder coating or painting of the lamps according to RAL-System is available on demand.

Other
LED-circuits can be exchanged individually in light fixtures. References to the intensity of light are made with right angle alignment of the measuring equipment to the beam.

All light tubes and area lamps are manufactured by REIER.
